Cookie-burra sitting in the old clay jar |
| happy, happy, chocolate chips for free |
| Yum, cookie-burra, yum |
| cookie-burra, sweet my life must be |

Soda Stream Sea |
walking in |
the white-caps |
is like |
walking through |
a soda stream |
I like the feeling of |
my feet and legs |
being washed |
by a fizzy yummy soda drink |
----------------------------------------------- |
surfers |
surfers are water birds |
bobbing on the waves |
surfers are stream-lined |
coloured fishes |
swimming along |
the surface of the water |
until the waves |
and sudsy surf spill |
the surfers |
and they become people |
reaching for their surf boards |
----------------------------------------------- |
seagulls |
Dollops of vanilla ice-cream |
scooped on top of a crisp cone wall |
splashed in ones or twos – |
suburban seagulls |
