"The best way to be of service to others is the constant attempt to seek to
share the love of the Creator as it is known to the inner self"
The site aims to encourage people to take action to promote peace through :
understanding how people interact with each other, and applying that knowledge
to helping each other and looking after our world well
assisting
organisations which work toward peace and social justice
using
strategies to achieve social justice

This site is an Australian web resource dedicated to promoting peace and social justice.
I would like to share resources, poetry, reflections and actions with people who
work toward peace in practice, not just in word.
The site contains links to useful information such as
online maps and telephone directories.
A section on "spiritual justice" focuses
on just one of the many
concerns of the world
which I have
felt drawn to.

Did you know....?
Almost a quarter of the world population, i.e. 1.2 billion people, live below the international
poverty line, earning less than $1 per
day.
The net
wealth of the 10 richest billionaires is $133 billion, more than 1.5 times the
total national income
of the least developed countries.
The cost of
eradicating world poverty is 7% of global income.

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation
where they will not be judged by the color of their skin
but by the content of their character

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out
the true meaning of its creed:
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal."

Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is sadness, joy.
O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
To be consoled as to console,
To be understood as to understand,
To be loved as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
It is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
